FudgeThis is our grandpa Bill Bradshaw's fudge recipe.
4 ½ cups sugar 1 can evaporated milk ¼ cup butter 1 pound Hershey chocolate candy bar 1 pound chocolate chips 1 pound marshmallows 2 cups nuts (optional) Cook sugar, milk and butter over medium heat until it reaches boiling point, and then cook 4 ½ minutes. Remove from heat and add candy bar, chips, marshmallows and nuts. Stir mixture constantly until everything is melted and well incorporated. Fudge is ready to pour into a greased pan when it begins to loose its gloss (after lots of stirring)! |
