Ice Cream SpecialThis recipe is from sister Chris and has become a family favorite since none of my kids really like cake for their birthday!
26 Oreo cookies 1/3 cup butter ½ gallon Vanilla ice cream Hershey’s fudge topping 10 oz. Cool Whip topping Crush cookies in food processor or with rolling pin. Melt butter, mix with crumbs, press into a 9X13 pan, and freeze for 1 hour. Slice ice cream ½ inch thick and form layer on frozen crumb crust, freeze for 1 hour. Top with 1 jar of Hershey’s fudge topping, then frost the top with Cool Whip. Decorate top with more cookie crumbs. Freeze 3-4 hours then serve. Serve frozen. For an extra special presentation, make in a spring form pan. |
